About Me & My Practice
Hi, I’m Christian, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Oregon. I specialize in supporting older adults, family caregivers, and individuals living with chronic or serious illness, disability, dementia, and navigating major life transitions.
Later adulthood and caregiving can bring unique emotional challenges—grief and loss, changing roles and identities, health uncertainty, burnout, and questions about purpose and independence. These experiences deserve thoughtful, specialized support from someone who understands the complexities that come with aging, caregiving, and life changes.
With nearly a decade of experience in the helping professions, I’ve supported adults across the lifespan as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of illness and caregiving. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients process difficult emotions, build practical coping strategies, and reconnect with what matters most.
I provide secure video and phone therapy sessions, typically about one hour long. For clients with serious illness, disability, or caregiving responsibilities, home-based sessions may be available on Portland’s Eastside and nearby communities east of the Willamette River, with health insurer approval.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy quiet evenings at home with my dogs, traveling with my partner, spending time in the garden, and appreciating a good home-cooked meal—especially when someone else is doing the cooking.
Reaching out for support takes courage—I’m glad you’re here. To request a free 15-minute consultation, please use the purple “Request an Appointment” button at the top or bottom of this site.
